I genuinely did not expect to have such a brilliant experience, and I’m so thankful. I found Christian after searching for a surgeon to perform a laparoscopic cholecystectomy. It was important to me to find a surgeon who was highly rated and Christian was my first choice. I can genuinely not recommend Christian enough. Any concerns that I had in the lead up or in post operative care were addressed in a friendly and professional matter and Christian made sure I understood the surgery completely. It’s rare to find a surgeon with such great bedside manner who will put your mind at ease whilst performing such excellent surgery, I would recommend Christian to anyone. Feeling safe and valued as a patient is so important and Christian made sure this was the case. If I ever needed similar surgery again, I would contact Christian without hesitation.

Mr Macutkiewicz is probably one of the best consultants that I have had dealings with going through quite a lot of surgeries over the years. From my first meeting with him although in shock of the extent of the surgery I needed I felt confident that he was the person who could do the surgery. He explained everything in great detail. At no point did I feel discouraged the surgery went to plan and he came to check on me twice a day everyday till I came home. I had my follow up appointments but he was always at the end of an email if I had a problem which makes such a difference to a patient when they have concerns. What makes him stand out in my eyes as an amazing consultant and person were some of his last words said at my final check up [Once my patient always my patient ] That says it all I know if I have any further issues I can pick up the phone.
